Oakland Athletics

Michael "Mikey" Thalblum is the Visiting Clubhouse Manager for the Oakland Athletics.  Mikey has been employed with the team for over 40 years and at his current position in Baseball Operations as the Visiting Clubhouse Manager since 1993.  His perspective is a unique one inside the clubhouse of a Major League locker room and his career has spanned countless playoff runs, division titles and numerous World Series games. His responsibilities include assisting the Athletics during Spring Training and seeing to the wants and needs of players in town to compete against the A's during the regular season and beyond. Mikey's career has encompassed some great baseball moments and included historical, famed players and coaches.  He met his wife Janine at the stadium and they even had their wedding at the coliseum.  Mikey and Janine live in Dublin with their two sons, Stewart Robert (named after famed Oakland A's pitchers Dave Stewart and Bob Welch) and Jonathan Thalblum.
